Helpful Hints

To create the featured cards, follow the helpful hints outlined below and the assembly instructions found in our how-to book Wishes™. If you did not attend the workshop and do not have the featured stamp set, use an alternate stamp set or talk with your Consultant about how to purchase this exclusive stamp set. Your Consultant can offer you additional help with this and other great projects and show you our full line of high-quality scrapbooking and cardmaking products.

  • Cut the papers according to the paper dimensions on page 12 of Wishes™. Cut two of each of the following accent pieces from Colonial White cardstock: 4 1/2" × 2", 1 3/4" × 4 1/4", 5/8" × 1 1/4", and 1" × 1 1/2". (Note: The accent pieces are used for stamping.)
  • Using the sponging technique, lightly apply Chocolate ink to the edges of the papers for card 2.
  • Using Sorbet ink, stamp the “hello there” sentiment on the 1" × 1 1/2" Colonial White cardstock pieces. Trim to create a tag shape and distress the edges with scissors.
  • Using Sorbet ink, stamp the “you make me smile” sentiment on the 5/8" × 1 1/4" Colonial White cardstock pieces. Sponge the edges with Chocolate ink.
  • Using a combination of inks, stamp four mushrooms and dot clusters on the 1 3/4" × 4 1/4" Colonial White cardstock pieces.
  • Using Chocolate ink, stamp the tree branch and leaves on the 4 1/2" × 2" Colonial White cardstock pieces. Cut out the images.
  • Apply a small amount of Liquid Glass to the stamped dots and dots on the B&T Duos® paper for all six cards as desired. Set aside to dry.
  • Write your personalized message on piece D for all six cards.
  • Assemble the cards according to the instructions on page 12.
  • Attach the ribbon, hemp, brads, and Dimensional Elements as desired.
